  1. Open up an OS/2 command line and follow these steps to
  2. install this fix on your machine (this assumes that OS/2 is installed on your
  3. C: drive):

  5.         1. reboot with INSTALL diskette
  6.         2. insert DISK1 diskette
  7.         3. Press ESC when prompted to ESC or CONTINUE
  8.         4. attrib -h -s -r c:\os2krnl
  9.         5. ren c:\os2krnl os2krnl.bak
  10.         6. copy a:os2krnl c:\
  11.         7. attrib +h +s +r c:\os2krnl
  12.         8. Shutdown your machine
